Dear Team 2775,
HEY! how’s it going? The move is going well, however, Eliza and I still miss our fave robotics team: YOU guys. Sadly we cannot go to the IRI, but hopefully we’ll see each other at the next game. For all the people going to the IRI, good luck!(you’ll need it) Anyways, I have to go, sadly. Have fun and be safe, if I see any of you guys at the next game WITHOUT your safety goggles on, I WILL FIND YOU. lol, see ya!
Sincerely,
Omega,
P.S. Haseo, please answer your phone, lol bye!

Readers!
Yesterday afternoon,Sarah, Mr. Price, Mrs. Stone, Brandon, Eliza and I went to JEA Studio 6 to present our robot on the local show 6 In The City . It was a cool experience. Sarah, Mrs. Stone and Mr. Price explained briefly of how this years game worked and announced that our team has been accepted into the Indiana Regional Invitational (IRI). Shred, the robot, was also there to show what he can do. After picking up the game pieces off the floor, Brandon drove Shred to one of the shows Host, then Eliza dumped all of the spheres on him! We will be getting a copy of the show on DVD within the week. stick around, more updates are headed your way!
Sincerely,
Omega

As Drew stated below, we need each one of you to write a Thank You note to one of our sponsors below and email it to me sarah.grenier@bdk.com so that I can print them out. I know you are all busy but this is a small token of appreciation that needs to be done to say thanks to everyone in the community that supported us.
I will attach some names to the companies so there is no confusion and we don’t have multiple people writing to the same company.

Elaine’s Barber Shop - Keith
The Bomb Squad - Eliza
Honey Baked Ham - Drew
Mayor Harris - Shelby
Tennessee Industrial Printing - Trevor
Edmond Cepparelo - Rachel

So that’s it, one little letter, the two people at the end don’t have names assigned, we need volunteers for them. Letters need to be done by the end of this week, that’s Friday the 3rd!

All right Readers!
This is a fairly simple but delicate operation. We need to send our sponsors letters of gratitude. each of you must type up a letter to one of our sponsors and send it to Sarah for delivery. On the next post, Sarah is going to put up a list of them for you to choose from. Also, awesome job everyone at the championship, we showed them that we are not just rookies, but advanced rookies from JACKSON TENNESSEE!! The meeting last night was short, we found some things that we were looking for. Sadly, most of the team could not make it, but at least we had some things accomplished with the people available. Stay tuned, more news is headed your way!
Over and Out,
Omega

Hey Everybody!
Its been one week since the Atlanta trip and we are up and ready for the next challenge! Furthermore, we are applying to go to the Indiana Robotics Invitational http://www.indianaroboticsinvitational.org/Site/Welcome.html (IRI) in 3 months and 4 days! It will be almost like the St. Louis Regional , but bigger. In order to be ready when that date arrives (provided that we are going), we are having a meeting tomorrow after school, I do not know the details of what we are doing, but I’m sure it’s important. Be like Velcro and stick around, more news is on the way!
With a 7/16th wrench,
Omega

Hey Readers!
Last week our team won second place in the finals of our division, which was Galileo. Facing other divisions such as Curie, Da Vinci, an Newton, this was the hardest competition we have faced yet. We cant wait for next years challenge. Check out the Jackson Sun’s article by going to http://www.jacksonsun.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2009904190315 . This has been one of the best experiences i have ever had with a group of friends i wouldn’t trade for the world. I cant really express the events that happened, so until next time. Stay in touch, more updates are coming soon!
Sincerely,
Omega
